Angela + Michael were married at Ballroom at the Providence G on May 27th (hard to believe it’s already been about a month and a half!). It felt like ages since Angela and I first connected to book the wedding, so I was SUPER excited to finally be there to capture this couple as they said ‘I do!’
The couple both come from large families, so it was a day filled with tons of loved ones surrounding the celebration. After the ceremony, a trolley took us to downtown Providence and Waterplace Park for photos. For bride & groom portraits, we made our way up to the Rhode Island Statehouse. The marble backdrop was a PERFECT tie-in to the whole theme of their wedding – classic, elegant, romatic.
I was also so excited to photograph an event at the gorgeous venue they chose! As a resident of Providence for 7 years, I had been to the G building many times (hello G-Pub…and the only rooftop space in PVD!) – but I had yet to see the Ballroom in all it’s glory. It totally lived up to the dream picture that Angela painted for me as we were discussing wedding details way in advance. Everything came together so beautifully, and you could tell that it was exactly what Angela + Michael had envisioned (props to you guys for making your dream wedding come true!)
We had so much fun hanging out with these two for the day and cannot thank them enough for having us along! Congratulations again, Angela + Mike!
