Brittney + Bryan are now THE CARDINS! These two were married at the Atlantic Resort in Newport, RI in June – and we were SO happy to be there with them capturing the whole day. I had been reeeeally looking forward to B&B’s wedding day ever since our engagement shoot together (check that out HERE!). These two are SO fun to shoot with! Besides just being incredibly good-looking together, you can tell they genuinely just love being in each others presence – and I just love how their love reflects in both their engagement + wedding day photos.
Pretty much everything took place right at The Atlantic Resort. This brand new venue has gorgeous, bright, spacious suites that were perfect for getting ready in. B&B chose to hold their ceremony indoors and avoid the chance of dodging weather. We were glad they did because it ended up being a VERY hot and muggy day. Plus, the ceremony space was gorgeous! Bryan’s grandfather married the two and made sure to add a few obligatory stories about the two – which added a nice little personalized touch. Post ceremony, we headed with the wedding party down the road to Purgatory Chasm (yes, again – such a magic spot!) for photographs. Brittney had quite the awesome girl squad with her – they absolutely rocked the pre-ceremony bridal party shoot! And, of course, Bryan was looking very handsome with all his fella’s as well. Combine both those groups and we had such a fun crew to carry the party through the reception!
The reception was a perfect mix of a TON of laughing, dancing, and celebrating the lovely couple. Bryan’s brother delivered a solid speech, followed by Brittney’s two sisters – who presented a (hilarious) parody music video to Britney Spears ‘Oops I did it again’ and inserted Bryan’s name when fit (I should have probably asked them for a link to insert into this blog post!). The rest of the night consisted of dancing under the twinkling stars above the dance floor :)
Brittney + Bryan, congratulations! I’m so thankful to have met the two of you and to call you new friends! You guys are the best :)
