Belle Mer is easily one of my favorite Newport venues. It’s just so darn beautiful there! We were so excited to get back there this past October for Christie + Bill’s fall wedding.
We started the day off with Christie as the Allison Barbera Beauty team glammed the girls up at the 41 North Seabreeze Cottage right off Thames Street. Bill and his guys freshened up for the day over at Hotel Viking. Christie and Bill did their first look at Fort Adams where we took a few portraits and then Bill grabbed a ride on classic motor yacht Rum Runner II (a Newport staple!) with all of his groomsmen. They cruised the harbor before pulling up to Belle Mer just before guests started to arrive.
The late afternoon ceremony took place out on the lawn overlooking the water and the Pell bridge. Everyone enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over the harbor during cocktail hour and right through to the reception – where the last of the sunset could be seen through Belle Mer’s floor to ceiling windows.
The Waters Edge Flowers stunned us with beautiful bouquets and centerpieces and our friend Jay over at Signature Sounds kept that party going with the music. Bill, Christie and their wedding party kept us laughing the whole night – such a fun group! I love the part of the night where everyone just lets go and all there is left to do is throw down some dance moves.
Congratulations Christie + Bill, we wish we could do it all over again every October! :)

Bill’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride was the best!
I definitely don’t think he knows how to make her laugh ;)
Arguably one of the best parts of their day!
Waving to us over at Belle Mer as they cruised by!
Meanwhile – over at the bridal suite…
